Hi
my name is Kai.
My father is a member in this forum since many years.
Last year I finished my architectur-studies in Frankfurt (master)
I use the K30 which had failed (ABF). Then the solenoid was sanded for test reasons but failed again.
Then it got the Japan solenoid and works fine.
Because I learned through my father how to do it myself, I taught other students how to do it.
They purchased broken Pentax DSLR and repaired them themselves.
My main two lenses are the Sigma 10-20/4.5, the DA50/1,8 and the DA35/2,4
Sometimes I use the DA55-300.
This year in May I plan to go for 1 year on a world travel, final destination Japan
Japanese architecture is partly the reason, I admire it.
I also admire the works of Frank Lloyd Wright.
After finishing school I travelled to Australia: 1 year socalled "work and travel".
Well, work was a huge disappointment, kind of slavery almost. Very quickly I changed that
and got to know a German architect for whom I could do fair work for fair paypament
We became friends, I lived for weeks alone on his farm, could use his truck when he went to Germany.
This was a large influence.
Then some amazing advantures including deep in the outback.
Very special was fishing with an aborigine I made friends with for Burumunda in the middle of the night
on my birthday.
