Hi there

Hello! I’ve been using this excellent site to look up reviews for lenses for a long time, and I’m now in love with a lens enough that I needed to leave it a positive review; turns out I need to introduce myself here first. Hi! I’m a Canon 6D mark ii DSLR user, but I adore older lenses and spend most of my time as a photographer searching for and adapting old lenses. Lens character is the most interesting and fun part of photography for me, sometimes. I’ve got a very nearly full collection of Super Takumars and an old 70’s metal case that I’m custom outfitting them all to fit in, I’m a fan of Vivitar series 1 lenses, and I have an ancient nifty fifty that I stole off of a Tower camera that renders colors more beautifully than almost any lens I’ve used. Recently, I went to New York for sight seeing and brought a new contraption with me- I adapted a Pentax 6x7 55 f4 with a tilt / shift adapter, and good god, what spectacular results. I’m going to post the review on that lens right now if you want to see it. Thanks for letting me into your fantastic camera community!

As long as its a slippery slope that has a pile of camera lenses at the bottom to break my fall, we’re all good.
