Good day!
I have a K1000. I am deciding if I want to keep the camera and use it or if I should sell it (or pass along to relative) and go digital.
I was beginning to learn how to use it in the early 90's and got sidetracked and blinded by the shiny digital objects.

Welcome to the forums.

I would keep the K1000 unless one of your relatives shows a strong interest in film photography. Shooting film has its own joys so keeping it makes sense. Of course you could always borrow it back. Your old lenses should work (with limitations) on a K-mount DSLR, so that's a plus.

Welcome to Pentax Forums. I also have a Pentax K-1000. I have 3 Pentax DSLRs (digital cameras) too. Digital is very useful. I kept my K-1000 just in case I need it for anything.

It's also one used a lot by students in basic photography courses, should you want to donate it.
