I am glad to be on this forum. Lots of interesting stuff and information. I have a Pentax K-50 and am looking for an inexpensive lens. My choice is M42, I cannot afford any other.

The M series lenses can be very cheap, too, and they are much more comfortable to use.

Do not rule out M or K series lenses, some can be very affordable as well. Even some A, F, and FA lenses are great deals.
