Greetings all. I am an old Pentax user, K1000 in Art school and ME Super in the 90´s and beyond. Digital has been all Fujifilm X-E1, but I am interested to get into Pentax digital in order to utilize my old M and A lenses. They seem to render a beautiful film look beyond even what I can get with my old Fuji X-E1 with it´s ´magic sensor.´

Or course I could get a PX-Fuji X adapter, but that early model does not have a good focus system for interfacing with manual focus lenses. I like to shoot with the most simple equipment possible.

I have been looking into early-ish Pentax SLR´s and am looking to buy something cheap and somewhat light. I have a neurological condition, and carrying and handling a very heavy camera is not happening. So, looking to play in a new photgraphic territory while getting back into the Pentax world. Any suggestions are welcome.

You may want to start a new thread to ask for recommendations on which older DSLR models to look at, that will catch more people's attention. And giving a budget always helps, as well.
