Greetings from New England- Massachusetts to be more exact.

I’ve enjoyed reading this site as a guest and now as a member. I hope with time I can contribute to the forums as well, as I greatly appreciate the knowledge, camaraderie and sense of community that’s been created here.

After decades away from any serious camera work I’ve reentered the hobby with a couple of K200Ds (and a Canon T3i) and a large collection of lenses acquired packed into a few photography suitcases. If it sticks, I’m sure I’ll be asking for advice in regards to a future upgrade.

Thank you for such a great forum- I look forward to spending some time here.

Billy, post some pics from your K200Ds. The K200D was my 1st Pentax DSLR acquired in 2014, and I was using my early 1980s k-mount M-lenses while returning to quality photography. I did not keep the K200D long because I wanted to advance my photography. But still, I obtained some good photos from it.

mroeder75- I’ll be sure to do so. I think I need a few weeks (months?) under my belt first though to get used to the camera. I’m definitely in need of familiarizing myself with the camera and even the hobby once again.
