So, after some days of lurking here, I joined this forum some days ago. And today, I found some time to introduce myself finally.
After using a Pentax P30n for a decade or so, I switched to DSLR in the end. I got a K20D for my birthday last week, so you can imagine how happy I am! However, it was no obvious choice to get a Pentax again. I went shopping for a Canon Eos50D, but the guy in the store recommended me a K20D when I told him I had a Pentax before. The possibility to use my old (manual) lenses made it easy to make up my mind and to buy a Pentax again. And I am not disappointed until now!
My old lenses:
Pentax SMC-M 28mm f3.5
Pentax SMC-A 50mm f2.0
Pentax SMC-M 135mm f3.5
Panagor PMC 80-205 mm f4.5
Takumar-A 28-80 mm f4.5
Panagor Auto Teleconverter 2x
Panagor Auto Macroconverter 2x
Considering a real macro lens soon, but I very much like the 40mm Ltd. "pancake" too!
In real life, I am a botanist in service of the Dutch Military, working as a nature conservationist at military ranges in The Netherlands. So, besides landscapes and potraits, which I like to shoot, most probably I will share many pictures of flowers whith you....
Hope to have a good time with you Pentax-lovers!
Rense, with seasons greetings
