Greetings from Denver

Hello all, I started out with an ME Super 25 years ago and just got a K20D. I'm still reading the manual, but so far I love it. Planning on getting another lens next. Any thoughts? I'm looking at the FA 77 f1.8 limited, the FA 43 f1.9. No hurry as I have a lot of playing around to do with my SMC M lenses and the 16-45 DA.

I hope I have something worthy of posting soon!

Dave

welcome to the forum Dave, you seem to be quite the Pentaxian! I don't know what you like to shoot the most, so it would be hard to give a recommendation, particularly considering your choices. I would say the 43 Ltd. but I can only imagine that the consensus will be to get the 77 Ltd. behind the A*85 1.4 the 77 Ltd is likely the most favored lens among the forum members, and rightly so.

Well, it's been a while since I've shot SLR. My ME Super and SMC M 50mm disappeared in the middle of a divorce. I used the 50mm and 135mm before more than the 28mm so I think the 77 is probably best. I perused the "favorite lens" thread and both the 43 an 77 seem to be a good choice. Thanks for the input!

Welcome Dave. Either the FA43 or FA77 will make a great addition to your kit. Enjoy the forums and your new camera.
