Questions:

Budget?
Photography types you tend to shoot (or intend to shoot)?
Autofocus or manual focus?
Astrophotography?
Weight limitations?

Welcome to the forum.

If budget is not issue, Pentax offers the following nice camera bodies:
Medium format: 645Z
FF: K-1ii
APS-C: K-3iii
All these bodies are very well regarded by the PF community.
If you have some budget limitations, you may consider buying (2nd hand) an older model, e.g. K-3 or K-5ii.
Hope that the comment may help.

Hi, if you want to continue using your current Pentax K-mount or M42 lenses with their original field of view - and you can do that - you should plan on buying a Pentax K-1 (the current model is the K-1 mark II).

If you can use some of them with a reduced field of view (it's called crop mode or APS-C) and perhaps add some APS-C lenses, then there's the K-3III which is the more professional body, and the KF which is the entry level (but still full featured and with excellent image quality).

In the used market you will find options for any budget. Even the first generation Pentax DSLRs (all APS-C until the K-1 came along) still work until this day for the most part!

I would recommend the Pentax K-1 II if you are shooting full frame, or the Pentax K-3 III (color version) for shooting aps-c.
