Coming back to Pentax and PentaxForums too!

Hi there!

After some 12 years with Nikon,i am back with Pentax again! The K-3 III Monochrome is the reason why i am returning. This camera is a game changer for me.I have been a b&w lover for so long and i was dreaming of a (relatively) affordable monochrome digital camera before and Pentax just did it!

In my former Pentax days,i used to have a Pentax Super program (Super A),a P5, an original 645 kit,a few PZ-1 and PZ-1p.Going digital,i had a K10 and a K20 and a lot of lenses. But i needed a full frame digital camera and,at that time, Pentax had none then so i went to Nikon.

I've always liked Pentax ergonomics and handling so i come back with pleasure! I bought the K-3 III Monochrome with a few lenses and a used original K-3 with two basic lenses to do some occasional colour photos.I keep a basic FF Nikon kit too for the moment, selling the rest.

As a professional photographer on his way to retirement,i want to bring back the fun and the simplicity in my photography. The Monochrome is perfect for me right now,i am really eager to use it more.

Glad to be back to PentaxForums too btw

Welcome home!
I'm also looking forward to receiving my KiiiMONO. Unfortunately I will have to wait for the second wave to hit Australian shores....

Welcome back!

(Every one of these posts is annoying to Sandy, who got his order in early, but is dealing with the Australian rationing of K-III mono cameras...)

Greetings and welcome back to Pentax and Pentax Forums from Germany! You can live the full frame dream with the Pentax K-1 mII while you're at it. I love mine.

Thank you again for the warm welcome.

I got myself a barely used original K-3 with a couple of cheap lenses to add to my K-3 III Monochrome since my formal introduction here.Got myself a few good lenses too for the Kimono as it's seems to be able to express every bit of sharpness (or softness) out of any lenses. An intriguing beast for sure!

Greetings from Canada
