Speaking from experience, I think you’ll greatly enjoy the K-3iii, and frankly, concerning video, the current smart phones have video capabilities that are startlingly good for many purposes, so my thoughts agree with yours.

At this moment, I am exploring the K-3 iii.
When I have made some nice pictures, I will post them here. For now I am exploring this forum with tons of usefull info.
As in my own language, there is a saying: "don't see the trees anymore in the forest". But I will find my way
