Greetings ! I introduce myself and ask for advice

Hello Everyone!
In 1982 I purchased a ME SUPER and I photographed for many years with great satisfaction.
In the early 2000s I switched to a Canon digital camera and put aside my film Pentax.
Now that I have been retired for a few years I have taken back my ME and have rediscovered the pleasure of the past!
I would have decided to switch to Pentax also in digital, purchasing a K1 Mark 2.
I ask you: having Pentax lenses, namely the M 50 mm SMC 1.7 and the M 28 mm SMC 3.5, and also the Tamron 70-150 mm 3.5 Macro, together with the KOMZ Kazan Jupiter-37A lenses MC 135mm f/3.5 - M42 and Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mm f/2.8 "aus Jena" - M42 which ones can I hope to use with satisfaction!?
Which lenses do you recommend I buy instead, considering that I love photographing landscapes and advanced streets?
Thanks for anyone who wants to advise me and good evening to all.

These lenses will work fine on a K-1 but in manual mode (no autofocus and manual exposure) as these are lenses from the manual era, so you might consider to add a more modern standard lens like a 28-70 or similar (wider for landscape or bit longer...depending on your daily subjects) supporting autofocus and auto-exposure.
The better (or best) modern lenses might might have better sharpness and less purple fringing or flare due to newer coatings, and slightly different color rendering but some people actually prefer the older glass...
So time will tell what you prefer...

PS: for M42 you need an adapter to pentax k mount, but I guess you have it already for your ME, no change.
PS2: the lenses will work on aps-c digital body like K-3 also, but with a narrower field of view: a 50mm will behave like 75mm lens on K-1 (1,5× crop factor), which can be odd sometimes in perception ( a wide is not so wide anymore...)

Hi Mlag ! Many thanks !
Yes I have the adapter from M42 to K .
I have read conflicting reviews on the 24/70 and 28/105 zoom. For some the price difference is motivated by completely different qualities; for others the difference is small and the 28/105 is preferred for its greater lightness and usability! What do you think about it !?

Have a good day .

Welcome Guido!

I have both the 24-70 and 28-105, and they are both splendid. For landscape use I would definitely lean towards the 28-105. The 24-70 is more of an event lens in my opinion.

Whatever you decide upon, I'm sure you'll love the K-1

Greetings and welcome to Pentax Forums from Germany! Whatever lenses you are using on your ME Super can be used on a new K-1 with use of the green button for exposure metering in center-weighted or spot mode. I'm perfectly happy using my collection of film era lenses on my K-1 mII this way. Cheers!
