Nearly a Pentax owner....

Hello....

Think I am just about to buy a K100D/K200D/K10D (not sure, have asked in the DSLR forum). Used an ME Super years ago, and a Super A back in the early 90's......(shame I don't still have the lenses....:-(

Welcome to the forums! I'm sure whichever camera you decide to get you'll enjoy it. I'm still using my trusty old DS and although I'd love to get a K20D, the DS is so easy and fun to use I keep investing in lenses instead

Welcome to the forums. All are good cameras but I'd choose the k10. Great camera and you'll be much happier with the 2 thumb wheels plus many other features in that body.

Welcome aboard, I'd go with the K10D as well.

If my K100D hadn't developed a little lens-contact glitch with one of my lenses, I would still be using it and not have gotten the K20D.

There are obviously many positives for the K20D over the K100D (better sensor, bigger buffer, weather-sealing, SDM capability), but be prepared to buy larger SD cards, and wait a long time for night shots as you can not turn off noise reduction. Also, post-processing may tax your system with large files (I added some RAM).

Oops, I see you did not include the K20D, above. Also, though many people love 2 wheels, I find I accidently jog them far too often and end up with 1/30 at f19 or something.
