Hello from Vancouver B.C. I am the owner of a K1000 with an adaptor for M42 lenses (6) It shoots very nice clean pictures. I can see why the K1000 is a popular camera   I only shoot film. As you can see in my picture there is NO photoshop here. I use to think a photo shop is were I go to buy film and paper. And you may ask : Why 3 ? A= It is because I CAN. This is the ONLY time I used digital, well maybe not the only time but one of the very few. I had to show I had Canadian Tire money (everyone in Canada has some but very few will admit it).
