I was told I will get pruned if I don't make a posting.

I'm a proud Pentax user with a K100D, 1st gen kit lens, K1000, 50mm f2 prime and 50-200mm noname zoom lens. The K1000 was my first camera about 12 years ago (my then-gf asked if it makes black-and-white photos, I said yes, she was surprised afterwards how they ended up color and better than out of her compact camera) ; I had a Canon A70 compact digital one after that which I guess was OK but nothing to write home about.

I'm very happy with my K100D purchase and have never regretted it.

A bit worried about the future about Pentax though as I failed to make one of my friends see the light of the Pentax ways and he went with a Nikon D90 as it did movies as well.

Myself probably waiting for K30D or similar before I upgrade. I might get a few lenses though... or then I might not.
