Hello Pentaxians,

My name is Bruce Devlin, and I am a freelance and art photographer from New Brunswick, Canada.

Although I registered here some time ago, this is my first post here. I just wanted to say "Hi!" and introduce myself.

I must confess that I use both Pentax/Samsung and Nikon systems at this time. My first DSLR was a Samsung GX-1L (same as *Ist DL2 I think) that I've all but worn out. I also acquired a serious case of LBA after buying that camera - mostly nice old manual stuff that works like a charm (when AF is not needed!).

I only bought the Nikon system recently with plans to sell off all my Pentax/Samsung stuff. I am now reconsidering that plan because the Samsung and a Pentax-M 50 1.4 is a pretty compact little package that can produce great results! I think it would also be pretty hard to part with the camera that I feel I sort of 'came into my own' as a photographer with...

Anyway - I appreciate the respect and camaraderie that seems abundant here at Pentax Forums, and I look forward to chatting with some of you in the future!

Thanks Roentarre - beautiful waterfall! Did you shoot this in Australia? If so, I see we're not the only ones who get great fall foliage
