Hi all,
Yes I am real. I own a K1000 and several lenses,never took a class and wanted to try and pick up as much as I could. Any recommendations on my first foray into purchasing a Digital camera?

Welcome!

K100D Super ($275 - $330) or K10D ($400 or so) are great starters - both have in-body SR, and both can work very well with your current lenses!

What is the real advantage of the k10D? Is any dealer better to buy from?THank you

Welcome to the forum, at least you know that with Pentax DSLR's the lenses are backward compatable with some limitations depending a lens series.
