Greetings From A Recent K100D User
Just wanted to say hello and keep my account active. I have been using a K100D for almost a year now, mainly taking shots of family activities. It's my first serious venture into the world of SLR photography (although I did have an old Zenit E back in the 80's). My lens collection is all old glass SMC-M 28/2.8, SMC-M 50/1.7, SMC-M 75-150/4.0 and one auto focus SMC-F 35-70/3.5 (for quick snap shots).
I went with the DSLR after trying to use several digicams to capture my son in theater productions. I can now make the shots but have to be careful not to distract/annoy people with the shutter noise. The unobtrusiveness was one area where my previous Konica Minolta G600 had the edge. Anyway, I am glad to have found this forum and look forward to many years of use from my K100D.
