I too am new to the forum. I have been taking pictures since 1978 when I bought a Ricoh XR-1 with a K-mount. This got me into using Pentax lenses. These lenses helped me rationalize buying a Pentax dslr. I bought a K20D, which I love. Previously I had used Canon PowerShots and a Finepix S6000fd. It is so nice having an optical view finder and no shutter lag.
I live in CT but find much of what I really enjoy photographing on the coast of Maine.
