I have a Pentax K100D & an old K1000 with a 55mm f2 lens that I sometimes use on the K100 as a portrait lens. It works great and I highly recommend it. I have enjoyed using Pentax for many years and hope that they always remain successful. It's scarey watching all the business failures occurring in these troubled time and hard to see what's coming.

Welcome to the forums Morry. It will be find at Pentax I think. The K2000 was a smart move in these troubled waters and should provide them with some decent sales when more expensive cameras might not move.
