Hello from Colorado

I inteded to spend more time on this site, but life has thrown me a couple of curve balls. I have to post so they don't delete my account, so I am writing this before I dash off to work. I will make a proper introduction later. I love my Pentax K10D that I have had for a year. It is my constant companion while I am touring on my motorcycle. There are a lot of features that I have not tried, so I am likely to have a bunch of questions for you all.

More to come later.

I have told you that a lot of my pictures are taken during my motorcycle rides ( during a break). I guess the best way to introduce myself is with some pictures take during a motorcycle tour. I tend to take pictures with the motorcycle in them as my online motorcycle club requires some part of the motorcycle be in the image, in order to qualify for a months entry in our calendar contest. I, of course, take pictures with and without the motorcycle included. Let me give you an example:

Independence Pass near Aspen, Colorado

With Motorcycle

Without Motorcycle

Motorcycle touring has a distict advantage over auto touring in that a motorcycle can park in a very small space, comparatively. Which means, you can stop virturually anywhere and take a picture.
