My name is Doug and I'm new to this forum, but have enjoyed Pentax photography for over 25 years. I started with a K1000 in the 80s, then switched to a 2MP Kodak P&S

for my world travels. It took great images, but I was limited in many ways, as you know - I'm sure. A few friends showed off their Nikons

that'd take their old Nikor lenses. Later, I was thrilled to see that Pentax finally came out with a digital SLR line-up that would accept all the K mount lenses 30+ yrs back. I went for the K200D and have not regretted it. I LOVE it, and am having a blast learning it and the new art of digital photography. I've found many posts here helpful, and hope to learn more from this forum.
