Hi Everybody,

I have been reading in this forum for a few weeks now and I have to say that I like the usually very respectfull and tolerant kind of discussion here. Hope I can contribute to this in the future! As I am German please forgive me if my English language capabilities maybe limited at times.

Just a few words about my experience in photography:
I took quite a lot of pictures many (believe me: many!!) years ago. During my time at the University (engineering) selling some photos did help to earn my living.
After that time I hardly did take any more pictures for the next 20+ years (only the typical "the kids first day in school" etc. family shots).
When I turned 50 nearly 2 years ago I bought me a Pentax IstD L2 which I am using until today and enjoy a lot.

I will post a few shots in the "Post your photos" section soon.
