| Hello from Belgium
Hi All, My name is Wouter and I live in Gent, Belgium. I have been lurking for some time, but why not get out in the open and present myself. I own a Pentax SFX and my introduction in the digital world was definately going to be a K10D until I came in the store and was presented with a GX10 for a much lower price  Since then I got a bit carried away in newbie LBA and "fleabay fever" so I now own more lenses than talent, but we're working on that  Well, this site has helped me a lot already in improving my skills and who knows, one day I might be able to help someone also... Welcome, Wouter nice to meet a gent from Gent.  Fortunately your LBA is not a life threatening addiction (unless your wife catches you). I hope you enjoy yourself here with all us other lens junkies. |

Ha Wouter, welkom! Hope you have a good time here. Some people keep saying that talent is more important than lenses. I myself think it is possible to make photos without talent, but not without lenses however  !

Hi Guys, Thanks for the welcome! On the lens vs talent topic, some very good points made by Rense  Oh, and Kurt, would you believe that I have taken (bad  ) photographs in all sorts of places but never even thought of photographing the home town? I only live here for 6 years...Will do so this summer probably: end of july is "Gentse Feesten" for those interested in a good time in Gent! Wouter | |
