Hello all

I've been lurking for awhile and thought it was time to post.

A little background, I shot a lot of b&w, Polaroids, Instamatic snaps and was a historian (read as event photographer) for my 4H group when I was much younger. In high school, I took photography and was able to use various 35mm cameras.

Unfortunately, life and family duties led me to set photography to the side for many years. Then once digital photography became "mature", I bought a camera and dabbled once again. I just recently bought my K20D after almost a year of drooling over them. Some of the old instuction has come back. But there is so much more to learn and I'm hoping not to be a pest to any of you.

Allen

Thanks, it is a great camera. I hit the limits of my old bridge camera (Oly SP500UZ) pretty quickly. And the "waiting" to use a dslr was pretty hard. Now I'm like a kid with a new toy.

I shot Pentax and Olympus slrs in the "film days". So when I saw that Pentax was still a player, I had to try them. I was instantly hooked.

I have a few photos I'll consider posting, and oh boy do I have questions.

Thanks again,
Allen
