Just starting out...

Hi All,

My name is Robbie and basically just starting out in photography. After a year or so of research and reading lots of pretty good and pretty bad magazines I picked up a K20D with a 16-45 for my birthday in December and started taking some pictures. A month or so later I bought a 55-300 so I suppose I already have LBA!

Worst is yet to come I think though.... A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a long forgotten Chinon 50 1.9 and found out its a PK fit

, I put it on, stumbled through the settings until I got it to work and found a whole new world.... Prime Land!

9/10 pics come out a bit soft and out of focus but the 1/10 that I do manage to focus blow me away....
So i'm here to watch and learn, maybe ask a few questions and pick a few brains.

Welcome Robbie! Those two good quality zooms combined with a fast prime will enable you to take just about any shot you want. Though I'm sure LBA won't rest that easy!
