[I originaly found this site accidently when i started making inquiries
as to why my pentax 18-250mm lens was not actually 250mm at its max extension.it's great to be amongst people with similar likes. I started out with the pentax ist ds then the k10d and now the 20d which i just received a week ago.i'm from the boston area "saugus ma" and will be leaving for st pete's beach fl on sat. I plan on giving the new camera
a workout and hopefully will have some good shots to share when i return in 2 weeks. the photo was taken several years ago with the pentax ist ds and it got me picture of the week in parade magazine.it was taken at 1/180 @f11 iso200.

I was real lucky--i wanted only get a picture of the moon that i could use later.the real blue march sky had many planes with contrails flying about and i figured one may pass by the moon and it did.
