hello from vermont

I've been reading the forum daily for quite a while; I
no longer even visit any of the others. I like the combination of friendliness, knowledge,2 years and willingness to share reflected here. I shot nikon, hasbld, and 4x5 in the 80's,and had my own color dkrm.. After one nikon digital I bought a K10d 2 yrs ago; best value I've ever had. I keep a sailboat on Champlain if anyone is in vt in the summer.
I'm off to NC this weekend for3 weeks kayaking in dismal and lassiter swamp.anyone local to gatesville? Won't be on net regularly after tomorrow.

Welcome from Virginia. You live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Both my son's attended NECI in Montpellier and I enjoyed all my trips to Vermont. Hope you share some photos of Vermont in the future. If we don't hear from you in a few weeks, we'll just assume you didn't make it out of the swamp!

Welcome aboard Vermontonian! I did some vacationing up there in 2008 and especially enjoyed the foliage season in the mid-western part of the state.
