Just wanted to introduce myself to this wonderful forum. I live in what is now a very soggy Connecticut. I am new to slrs/dslrs and have just gotten a k100d. LOVE IT! I have both kit lenses and the 50 1.4 prime and the 540 flash. My intent in getting a dslr was just to have more flexibility in photographing my kids and pets but I find that I have been swept up the "craft" and am now trying to learn as much as I can.

Welcome to the forum Robin. I used to live in West Hartford when I was little, now I'm in Ohio.

Sounds like you have definitely caught the bug! Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Welcome, sounds like are numbers in the New England area are growing. Almost enough for an group outing. I am orginally from Vernon/Rockville CT. myself.
