Hello to all!

Hi there! I'm a hobbyist who is new to Pentax digital. I entered the world of digital photography via Canon then tried the Olympus 4/3 system. Though i have enjoyed using these systems, I feel that something is missing. I love experimenting with different set-ups and also into using older, cheaper lenses. I think and I hope Pentax is the best way to achieve this. If I do, I'll get rid of the other two systems I have! I've been reading threads on this site for quite a while now and find it very informative. And decided to join when I bought my K10d. Cheers!

Welcome to the forums bugsy. I think if we keep it a hobby it stays much more fun than if we have to pay the rent with it. I too wanted to play with the older lenses and found the one I have to be the most fun to use. Enjoy and post some pics!

Hello from Georgia. Glad to have you here ! I agree with you about older lens. I lucked out on eBay. A Tokina manual 70-210mm and 2X converter. I also like changing apatures, angles, lighting, Av on K200D,etc. You can create some great depth of field.

I see some good lens listed by Brits on ebay. I would be careful about fungus over there. I got burnt
on a used lens once.

Enjoy your view and share it !!!!
