Thought I would say hello to all of you! Been a pentax user for a long time. Switched over to video for a while but wanted to get back to SLR photography but couldn't afford the price for a digital. 2 friends have been telling me about pentax digitals and how nice they were and was thinking about getting one for christmas when my wife surprised me with one for fathers day. She had been conspiring with forum user hwblanks (big wave at ya) and good friend to purchase her used k200d body. I have it mated with an old m 1.4 50 mm from my old pentax and have been playing with it. Its been a lot of fun and I know I will have a lot of questions later

Hi, Ccat! I just moved from Gainesville a few months ago, but I lived there for six years prior to that. That area makes for interesting terrain to photograph

Hey Heather. I'm glad to be aboard. A truly international welcome from Germany and Down Under no less. I really like this forum. I have already used tips posted here on using old m series lens with a digital. You all are to be commended for well thought out and useful forum
