Aloha from the Island of Oahu. I had pretty much abandoned film after receiving my first digital camera a few years ago. Over the years I have been frustrated with the limits of point and shoot and finally decided to upgrade to a K10d. Currently I have the kit lens and a 50/1.4 to play with and am anxiously awaiting the new DA* series.

Welcome to the forum. I think you'll be putting your camera to good use, lots of photo ops in Hawaii! Looking foward to seeing some pictures.
