Hello from SC

Hello everyone,

My name is Patrick Welch. I am new here and not new here all at the same time. I have been lurking and reading. Now that I am trying to start my own business, I will need more resources to ask those noob questions. I have been an avid photographer for the last 25 years. I still use my first camera - a 1984 vintage Sears KSX with a pair of Sears zoom lenses. For those of you not familiar with the Sears KSX Super. It is a re-badged Ricoh that uses Pentax K mount lenses. My old Sears lenses are great for macro work. And unlike many of today's lenses - they use all glass elements. I also have a Pentax 5n that doesn't get used anymore - the film advance gear is shot. I am doing the majority of my picture taking with a k10D and Tamron 28-200 lens. I have modified my old Sears 70-300 to mount to the k10. Works great for telephoto work since it effectively becomes a 450mm on the k10.
