Hi,

My name is Martijn and I'm from Boxtel, the Netherlands.

I decided to take the step from digital compact camera to digital SLR. After reading many promising previews I decided to buy the new Pentax K-7.

During the wait for this camera I have been browsing many websites with articles, previews and comments on the K-7. I found this website on my path.

It seems "Pentaxians" are a special group of enthusiasts...Guess I will be one of them as soon as I receive my K-7...

Since I'm new with SLR I hope to learn a lot from the threads on this forum.

Welcome to the forum, I also am new and this forum appears very friendly compare to othere with the endless Canon vs Nikon arguments. I am curently on vacation in the Netherlands, the subtle lighting on the could formations are amazing here (compared to the strong direct lighting in NZL), I hope to capture a decent image, lighting forcast tomorrow which should be fun.
