Hello from Seattle

I used to own a Nikon D80 but sold it a while back. Now I own a K10 and like it a lot more than the Nikon. For some reason I just didn't bond with the D80.

Not a total noob, I'd say I am enthusiastic about photography and ready to learn more. The K10 is an amazing camera.

Thanks for the welcome!

I need to get a decent photo editing program. The Pentax suite that comes on the disk seems rather clunky to me.

Any of the Adobe software will do a great job.. Best thing about the K10D is being able to shot in DNG.. There is also a PEF raw plugin from adobe for the pentax.. Welcome to the group..

I seem to be following dazza and the other Aussies around lately on the Welcome forum. Welcome!
There are so many editing programs out there, from free to hundreds of dollars. Look around the forum and you'll get everyone's opinions/ biases/firmly held beliefs. Download trial versions and play around.
