DSLR newbie with GX10

eventually grabbed technology and bought a Samsung GX10, would have liked the Pentax original but pennies were not that plentiful

Anyway I have now had it a week and am getting by but want to find out more so found this place

So far I have found the pics quite dark in auto mode which I am concerned about.

Anyway off to work now so will call by later and start the long thread reading process.

First of all, welcome to the forum
About your problem - try holding the "+/-" button and rotating front wheel clockwise a couple of clicks. Should get brighter.

Welcome to the forum Alan.
Well worth trying to learn to use the camera in modes other than the green one - you have no ability to manually change any settings when taking a photo in this mode. As suggested above, you'll need to either add exposure compensation (+1.0 or so) as indicated above, or meter the photograph differently. But this must be done in a mode other than the green mode to work.

Thank you for the welcome

Learning to use the camera in all modes is why I am here

Have been playing at night

One little problem is how to turn bracketing off?
I am taking pictures in AV but the camera keeps taking 3 or more pics at different exposures?
