Hi,

I'm new in this forum and also in the "reflex" world. I live in France (40km from Paris) and I'm a beginner in digital photography. I bought three weeks ago a Pentax K20D (my first

, with the 18-55 II, a 50mm 1.4 and 70-300) and I am very happy with it

! I would like to make family, landscapes and animals photography.

I'm 35 years old, married, 3 daughters. I work as a technical architect (computer science).

Welcome to the forum Malsi. Congratulations on your kit, you've got quite a decent setup to be starting off with.

Welcome Malsi.
You have just about all you need to start your photographic journey - just get out there and shoot lots of anything, including your wife and kids, and you'll find yourself growing quickly.

! During those 3 weeks, I read the K20D manual (for the technical aspect). I've already done 3000 shots

for training! Now, I need to learn how to make good photos

.

I've just ordered a remote control and would like to change the "basic" 18-55. I need to read more threads to know witch lens will be the best for my needs.
