a new pentaxian..

hi there..

just bought my K-7, but I won't receive it right now.. they're out of 2 lens kits
I'm a Belgian living in France - Poitou-Charentes (dept.) - in a nice little town. Can't wait to get the camera and go out in nature.

Since this is a 'stormy' region, I'll also have a lot of fun taking lightnings..

Well, I guess I'll see you around on the forum

Cheers!

Look forward to seeing some lightning shots.

I guess I don't need to say you'll have fun with your K7. Welcome.

Finally received my K7
I tried a few nature shots, but was so excited I completely forgot to compose the picture correctly..
Just put the subject in the center. It would be better on an other place. So I cropped the picture a bit and posted the picture in the gallery (sunbathing beetle.. yep.. not easy to find titles ). But I'm not so happy with the result.

So, don't hesitate to say what's wrong

Thanks
But the sun is reflecting too much on his body. Any idea how this can be avoided while shooting (or removed y post-processing). I would prefer a solution for the first option

And don't hesitate to critiscize (this or that could've been better). It's always good to know
what to improve!

About colors, this was the WR 50-200mm that has been used. And IMO, the colors are very nice with these lenses. With other lenses, I need to postprocess to make the colors a bit more vivid, closer-to-reality when green is the main color.
