Greetings to all. I am 66 years old and got back into photography a few years ago with the purchase of a Canon EOS Elan 30 film camera. A nice camera, but the digital age started calling, so I found a Sony DSC F717 for about half the going price, and took hundreds of pix with it (5 mpx) and enjoyed it. After reading and researching all the DSLR's, I decided on the Pentax K10D, which I dearly love. Recently the price on the K20D dropped to a "can't pass it up" level, so I got one a few weeks ago. I got the kit lens with the K10D and since accumulated a few other lenses, namely, a FA 50mm 1.4, a Tamron 75-300, a Tamron 18-200 and a Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro. I guess my favorites are the 50mm and the Tamron macro, but have had some pretty good success with all the others as well. I certainly enjoy reading all the posts and thanks to all who contribute tips and solutions. Peace, John.

Welcome to the Forum, John. I too love my K10D and you have some excellent lenses with the FA 50 and Tammy 90. We look forward to having you here.
