Hello from Zadar, Croatia, Europe

Hy everyPentaxBody,
I've just entered your nice forum. Loged instantly, like it very much.
I am a proud owner of an "old" Pentax ME since 1980 or so. I've made many photographs with my camera but now, since I am building web sites I am planing to jump to digital to give me speed to develop sites. I am collecting information on K10D and so far I am serious to buy it in a short while.
Because I am living in a smaller town, local shops haven't this camera in stock so I cannot try my old lenses, if they are compatible with K10D.
Maybe someone can tell me.
I have one: 2x APK TELEPLUS MC4, one: SMC Pentax-M 1:3,5 135 mm
both with "bayonet mouths"(? correct spelling ?)
and I am wondering can they be mouthed to K10D.
If they are compatible it will speed up my purchase of K10D and if they're not I will buy it anyway and start saving money for new digital lenses. I am aware of some lacks using old lenses with K10D.
By the way, pardon my English, hope you understand what I ment.
This supposed to be an introduction but I used it to ask a question too. No hard feelings.
Thanks.
Looking forward to see you all soon forum-ing.
Robert

Kako si, Robi.
dobro došli

(forgive me if this is wrong my Croation is not so good.)

Welcome to Pentax forums.
My wife is Croation and I hope to take my family on holiday there soon.

In answer to your question re lenses - you should find that the 135mm lens will fit on the K10D and pretty much any of the old K mount lenses will also work on the K10D.

Good luck with the K10D when you get it and I hope to see some of your pics of Croatia soon.

Hvala Falcons, dobro sam, a nakon tvog odgovora još i bolje.
Translated: Thanks Falcons, I am fine and after your answer I am even better.
This is twice a shock to me, very fast answer, in my language (not bad, even better than my English) and [WOW] lenses are good for K10D. Falcons you really made my day (night, considering the local time). As soon as possible I will buy my new K10D in Zagreb (270 km away) shoot some pictures of Croatia and upload them here.
Thanks again and see you soon around here.
