Hello. I have been lurking around this forum now for several months, since the K-7 rumours began. Thought it was time to join. It's a great forum i read it every day.

My interest in photo started with an Ixus i bought 5-6 years ago. In 2008 i was spending the whole year thingking about moving to DSLR and by the of the year i got myself a Conon 450D, and knew that this was not the end of the story

Never been a fanboy of anything and i belive that every brand has its own pros and cons. After a few months only with the 450D i was thinking about moving on to the older 40D or the new 50D, but then K-7 came and my attention was cought.

So here i am with a new K-7 (though it's in repair for green line), DA*50-135, kit lens, and a very old Chinon 50 1,7 that my mother used during the 80's to catch me in my dipers

I'll be posting some of my first pictures with the K-7 soon.

I live in Dalarna, an area north/west of Stockholm, 2 hours drive from Stockholm maybe. Litle town called Borlänge.

As you probably already have discovered this is a very friendly forum and a great place to share experiences.

A few years ago me and my family visited Dalarna to visit relatives and we found that is is one of the most beautiful places in Sweden. I look forward to seeing some photos from your part of Sweden.

Thanks! Nice to hear you liked my home! I will post the first good pictures i took with the Pentax, a few of them are nature.

You got me thinking now. I kinda forget to take pictures of the beautiful nature here. I guess thats a normal thing, to forget and get numb to the things you take for granted. I'll be thinking of that in the future!
