Hello from Plainfield, IN

The K20D is my first "real" camera. I am still learning things about it, as I guess I will be for the next few months or so. I am new to all of it, the terminology, the techniques everything. I picked the K20D after doing side by side comparisons with Nikon and Cannon. I almost bought a Sigma, that Foveon processor was exciting. I still might get the Sigma later on, as it will be fun to compare the 2. One thing about me, once I settle for something, I tend to become soert of a loyalist, so I know I will never own a Nikon or Cannon now.

Welcome to the forum, ghillindy1. My profile says Alabama, but I was born, raised and still a Hoosier at Heart!

Welcome fellow Hoosier

I used to live in Plainfield about 10 years ago, now I'm in Camby. Married with 2 also, 1 is ours, 1 is hers.
K20d user too...My 1st Pentax DSLR...Love it too.

Been a long time photography buff, (since 14).

Seems like we have a few local Pentaxian's in and around the Indy area. Maybe we should start "Pentaxian Camera Club?

Be sure to enter this months contest...Green....

Welcome again.....

There is the Photoventure club based out of the Indy Arts Center in Broad Ripple. I do not belong to the club (costs 50 bones a year and I am a cheap bastard) so I am free to practice my meager skills whenever time permits.

I'd be down with setting up a Central Indiana Pentaxian gathering if there is any interest.
