Hi from Zurich

Hi all,

I'm an Earth Science PhD student at ETH Zurich. I've been reading the forum for three months or so while I was deciding what my first DSLR would be (Nikon vs. Pentax). I'm now a proud owner of a K20D and absolutely loving it.

Congratulations on your new camera and welcome to the forum. I guess it proves that the smartest people choose Pentax.

Well congrats on getting a very fine camera in the K20D.
Enjoy your time on the forum and we hope to see more of you here.

Hi David and welcome from another fairly new person

I was lucky enough to visit Zurich earlier this year, great place! Will look forward to some pictures of Zurich when you get going with the new camera.

Hi goddo31,

I'm glad you enjoyed your time in Zurich - it's a great place for photography, especially with the Alps so close. Hopefully I'll be posting some photos at the weekend to try and get some pointers from all the pro's on here . It seems to be a big learning curve coming from a bridge camera, but it's all good fun.
