Morning everyone.

Just joined the site as im doing a course at college and need a little advice. I have just bought a Penntax mx body from ebay and now need to find a lens or two to go with it.

I found a PENTAX-M 50mm f1.7 K Lens on ebay also in apparently good nick with a yrs warranty. They are asking £31 for it. Is this reasonable? Also is there any other lens you could suggest for starting out?

Welcome to the forum. The M-50mm 1.7 is a great lens. The price doesn't seem too bad, but I'm not familiar with the UK market. Good luck.

Going fully manual? The 50/1.7 is a good choice and the price seems reasonable. Have a look at the forum's lens review database for more manual lenses to suit your needs (you need to decide what focal length range you'd be after).
