Hello from Newbridge in Ireland!

Hi, I'm new here and am looking to get some Pentax gear. I am a wedding photographer in Newbridge, ireland. I used Canon gear in the past, but was unhappy with the weather sealing on my 20Ds. I've heard about Pentax's excellent weather-sealing and great prime lenses, so I'm hoping to get some gear soon. If you are selling your K-7 or K20D, please PM me. I'm from the USA and can get things sent to my mom there if you don't want to send to Ireland. I'm on a major budget though, so good deals only!
Looking forward to learning more about Pentax through this forum!

Welcome to the forum. Take a look at the Marketplace forum, there are always K20's for sale there. Good luck.

Hi Lisa, and welcome.
You would do well to post your equipment requests in the Wanted section of the Photographer's Marketplace on this forum, and then browse through the Marketplace items for sale often - you're bound to find what you're after in the not too distant future!

Lisa, I assume you realize that while the camera body's weather resistant, most of the primes lenses aren't? The lenses that do have WR are DA* (not plain vanilla DA) and the newest 18-55 mm and 50-200 mm WR zooms.

Welcome, BTW.

Welcome Lisa. Having been in Ireland, if you shoot outdoor weddings, especially in the summer, I certainly understand the weather sealing issue. My weather sealing for my K100D Super and film cameras when we were there was a 5 gallon ziploc bag to cram the cameras in when the rain started.

Welcome to the forum.
