Hi from the middle of nowhere

Hi Everyone,

I own several Pentax 35mm cameras dating back to the introduction of the ME Super in the 1980s, however, with the exception of my wife's ZX-5n, they haven't been used much lately. Most of my recent work has involved producing B&W prints from medium (Pentax 67) and large format negatives. The K10D that is on the way will be my first serious digital camera. While I feel comfortable working with digital files, I undoubtedly have a lot to learn about using a digital camera. This forum looks like a great place to be.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find lots of friendly photogs here that love to talk Pentax and show off their efforts.

I checked out your website and was drawn to the Vietnam pictures. Those simple B&W snaps may have seemed insignificant or unimaginative when you took them but now they are important glimpses into world history. I like them!

Welcome aboard - One of my favorite lines about the middle of nowhere (small town anywhere) - was at at wedding - the groom's speach , He said "I am from Forestburg which is not the assh*&@ of the earth but you can see up it from there"

Looking forward to some Pics of Texas ! (My sister lives in Katy)

Looked through your web site; some really nice work. I am particullarly drawn to B&W and several of your images really caught my attention. Liked the "Badlands" color shots also. Welcome to the Forum.
