New to you

Hello there,

Just signed up today from Dover, NH. Am a amateur wedding photographer. I also love to photograph trees, bridges, old mill buildings, farm animals. i guess i love New England in general.

Have a Pentax k20d. Looking for people to convince me to keep it!

Anywho, thanks for letting me join in.

Welcome n.
What would you get in place of your K20D?
Convincing you to keep it is easy: get even better lenses than you have right now!
You'll find the K20D more than up to taking all the subjects you mentioned above...

Enjoy your time online, and hope you get involved in the forum more with time.

Welcome. I like New England too. Lived in Boston for 7 years. Just about this time of year we'd always go up to Conway, New Hampshire, to admire the fall foliage - just us and about 20 million other tourists. Worst traffic jam I've ever been in in my life was coming into Conway the first time we went up there. Took us a couple hours to go the last few miles to our rustic little motel. :-)

Why do you need to be persuaded to keep a K20D? If you said, "I have $1300 in cash sitting on my desk that COULD in theory be spent on a couple of new lenses or a K-7, but I'm looking for someone to convince me to hang on to the money instead," well, THAT problem I could understand.

But is there something about the K20D that you're not happy with? Something about some other camera that you envy?
