I am new here

Hi I'm new to the forum.

I originally am from South Africa, but are now staying the the Australian outback. We will be here for another 2 years and then it's back to South Africa.

I have registered a while ago, but this is my first post. I recently brought a K7 with a 18-55mm lens. Now I'am saving for a 50-200mm lens or a 18-250mm one. Slowly but surely, I want to buy some decent gear.

Willie

Welcome Willie.
An outback Pentaxian! Cool.
Enjoy the vast arid scenes there with your camera, and beware of LBA (lens buying addiction).
Look forward to more of your contributions here.

Welcome from a fellow South African. We're already moaning about the heat here (it's about 32 in Joburg today) but I suspect anyone in your neighbourhood would call us pansies.

Looking forward to some images of your surroundings. Don't melt, or as the Aussie's say 'slip, slap, slop' (or something like that).

Thanks LensScribe.

It really gets hot out here. We didn't had much of a winter season this year, and now the it is summer again. I will post some images sometime.

We'll be back in SA one of these good days. No place like home.

Welcome

If any one else mentions the heat I think I'll slump into a deep, dark depression
It's getting colder, and colder here. Roll on the Spring!
