Noob fm South Jersey

Well this site seems great and the day has been a good one so far. Been cleaning out the closet and found a camera bag at the bottom of all the "stuff" piled in there. Well low and behold....a camera i forgot i even had! A pentax k1000 with a pentax-a 50mm 1.7 attached with a af160sa flash sitting next to it inside the bag. Whats so great you ask? Well, I just bought a k20d just a couple weeks ago and been looking for another lens, then the standard that came with it. Even though its mf.....its awesome, i been turning off lights just to see it work!

So that and I find this site...the only thing that can make this an end to a PERFECT day....is a Phillies win!!!!! GO PHILS!!!!!!! (LOOKING GOOD!!!)

Welcome here mate.
Good find - the A 50/1.7 is one of the finest lenses made. It'll bring new life to your photos on the K20D.

Yep, that would be cool, im new to this, well semi new, since ive been into this but now getting really serious as im trying to combine my two hobbies. I fly RC Heli's so im starting to do Aerial Photog now with it, so ive up'd my camera and video to get better results. Not sure how many others on here do this.

My neighbor flies them as well. Might end up you know him. And even though I've been into this for about 2 years now, I still consider myself pretty new. At least that's what my pictures say to me.
