Hello Everyone- OK, I admit it. I've been lurking here without registering for over a year. Finally doing it. I'm a long term Pentax fan going back to K-1000, now fully digital and looking forward to getting some movies done with my K-7. I've owned and used many many of the lenses that get discussed here as well as much other equipment. I've many photos published as I am an author in the marine industry so I use my photos for that on the work end. Like landscapes a lot though. As soon as I figure out how to post photos here I can start doing that.

Welcome aboard! Used to live close to your neck of the woods....would be nice to see some of the pics. You can upload a photo directly to the site, but many of us use the image button to show our pictures from smugmug, flickr or another site. For example, if I right click one of my pics, it'll show me the link to that pic;

If I was to take that link, select the "insert image" button and post it into the box that pops up, it'll show the picture in my post.

There are much more detailed explanations in the help articles on the site.

Thanks for the tip. Holiday weekend coming up here, so I'll spend some time then getting some photos into the mix. Outdoor stuff. I'm a tech writer so I doubt anyone would be too interested in my photos of outboard engines and burned up boat electrical systems!
